Each weekend Foghorn Brewery will host a pop-up bar which will be accompanied by a range of tasty food options. And Equip Media are in charge of the sound so you know that shows like Aftermath and Lightyears from Home will be accompanied by epic sound.

Festival hub headliners
Following its sold-out premiere season, the critically acclaimed Aftermath returns for an unparalleled rush of live performance Aftermath is a rousing aural, visual and sensory trip, created by Amy Hollingsworth and Jack Lister, performed by Australasian Dance Collective. . Set to a blistering original score by the award-winning Danny Harley and performed live by The Kite String Tangle.
Aerial theatre combines with cutting edge interactive performance technology to wow crowds in Stalker Theatre's production Mountain where four performers seamlessly meld acrobatics, creating an innovative, physical and visual spectacle. At its heart Mountain asks us to re-examine our love of the Australian bush. Family friendly.
Youth events at the festival hub
Commissioned for the 2022 New Annual Festival. Menagerie is a new, interactive community performance from Curious Legends Help create the Gentle Giant - a toweri.ng, illuminated puppet with a pulsating heart and on the last day of the festival, become part of the Menagerie sea of colourful chaos.
Not just a think-tank but a ‘do-tank’ for social innovation. Bringing together young minds from all over the Hunter to be part of a four-day round-table discussion program guided by globally recognised mentors who are artists, technologists, scientists and innovation experts. On the last day participants will have the opportunity to present their creative questions to local-decision makers, making them a part of the community of changemakers for a better Newcastle.
