Taylor's Run

All performances of Taylor's Run have now SOLD OUT!

Wet Weather Update:  The performance is conducted under cover and inside the recycling facility. However, guests are encouraged to bring an umbrella and any rain apparel for use prior to departing Wallsend Library on shuttle buses, or when transferring from the bus to the performance area once at Summerhill Waste Management Centre.  See below for pre-show communication for ticketholders.

Curious Legends are creating an exciting new site-specific performance at Summer Hill Waste Management Centre.

Join us for a rollicking adventure with Taylor as she searches for her best friend; sliding through piles of garbage, dodging giant apple cores, meeting trickster native animals, and eventually coming head to head with a monstrous trash-beast.

For the festival only, the Waste Centre will be transformed into a grand concert hall, where magic happens! Your family will have a unique opportunity to explore the waste centre behind the scenes, and get thinking about what we can do as households to reduce our impact on the environment.
Curious Legends are a beloved local puppetry and street theatre company best known for their large-scale illuminated mobile puppet performances for children and families. They have presented their unique community-engaged performances throughout Australia and internationally
