ARTISTS & COLLABORATORS

Art Thinking is a transdisciplinary studio connecting art, science, technology and society.  Visit our studio for a chance to explore the Ars Electronica Shadowgram – an interactive lightbox that generates a sticker of your silhouette - and be part of a social brainstorming wall about the future!

Come to Conceptavision and see earth shattering sights and sounds never seen before. Step beyond the scenes of a stop motion film currently in production and witness a world of miniature magic, and come face-to-face with surveillance culture - experience the imposition of external surveillance and the freedom of internal surveillance.

Visit Brett McMahon in his multi-disciplinary studio, meet the artist, view and discuss new work in progress, future projects and his ongoing studio practice.

Chris Langlois has practiced as an artist/painter for over thirty years. His work has traversed subjects from the abstract through to the large cinematic seascapes he is known for. Come and visit his studio and view a small exhibition of works from over the years.

Meet documentary film-maker, Joel De Carteret, director of Stories in Motion, a film production company working closely with people to tell their story straight from the heart.

The team at Upcycle Newcastle invite you to create small projects with them at their pop-up workshop, demonstrating some textile upcycling techniques. See the creative potential in old jeans and T-shirts like never before!

The Creator Incubator - many of the 38 artists housed at The Creator Incubator will open their studios to the public, including nationally recognised artists John Turier, Fiona Lee, Braddon Snape and Peter Tilley.
